ISB's 5th Annual Giving Day: All In 4 ISB

On Thursday, May 18th, the International School of Boston community will come together to celebrate our 5th annual Giving Day, dedicated to celebrating philanthropy's impact at ISB! This year, our goal is to raise $25,000. Your donation will make an immediate impact on the student experience, supporting opportunities to develop excellence, character, and community.

Each year, ISB relies on generous donations from our current parents, alumni, faculty and staff, parents of former students, grandparents, and other community members to support our mission. As ISB is a non-profit, independent school that operates without any direct financial support from the French or US Governments, supplemental resources provided by unrestricted donations to the Annual Fund allow the school to invest in the areas of greatest need every year. All gifts are tax-deductible.

Be All In 4 ISB and Reap the Benefits:

1. Gifts of $250 to $499 will be entered into a drawing for a 60th Anniversary Northface ISB backpack filled with ISB swag.
2. Gifts of $500 to $999 will be entered into a drawing for an on-campus Family Photo Session with Frederick Bolzan Photography.
3. All donors reaching $1,000 or more in cumulative giving this fiscal year will be invited to our community "Champagne and Thank You" event with Head of School Richard Ulffers on Thursday, May 25th.
4. The grades in each of the four divisions (Maternelle, Lower School, Middle School, and Upper School), with the highest parent participation will win a visit to an ice cream truck on campus later this month.

What is Giving Day?

Giving Days are popular events for American independent schools, colleges and universities, and non-profit organizations that, much like ISB, rely on the generosity of their community to support their mission. They are a one-day campaign where the community rallies together to support a specific cause - in this case, the Annual Fund.

I already made a gift this year. Do I need to give again?

Thank you for your support of ISB! If you already made a gift this fiscal year (July 1 through June 30) through our fall appeal, December Challenge, or by supporting the Gala, then you are already counted in our overall participation total, but a second gift today will be counted toward our $25,000 dollar goal. Second gifts from our parent community also signal a strong belief in the school's mission and leadership to prospective families, major donors, and corporate supporters.

How much should I give? 

Gifts to the Annual Fund are personal to each family's circumstances, and we encourage you to give at the level most meaningful to your family. There are several giving incentives specific to our All In 4 ISB campaign outlined below, but please know that gifts below $250 also make a significant impact on achieving our goals for the day!
